What's new on the HRO web site?
 
  • ADDRESS IN MYPAY - This is a friendly reminder to ensure your home address is up-to-date in myPay.  To update your home address, login to myPay and on the main screen, under Pay Changes, select Correspondence Address and update as necessary.  This will ensure you receive mail from TSP and other pay/benefit  related mail.

  • HRO HOURS - Beginning 30 APR 12 the HRO will be closed every other Monday and if the Monday off falls on a holiday, the HRO will be closed the following Tuesday as well.  For example. the HRO will be closed on 14 MAY 12 and due to the Memorial Day holiday on 28 MAY 12, the HRO will be closed on 29 MAY 12.  The HRO core hours remain the same, 0700-1530 each day.  Additional days we will be closed:  29 May / 11 & 25 June / 9 & 23 July / 6 & 20 August / 4 & 17 September.  A drop box for applications will be available soon and will be located at the main entrance of the HRO.

  • TRAVEL TO MEXICO - The Adjutant General's (TAG) policy letter regarding travel to Mexico has been updated and is now posted on the site.

  • TELEWORK POLICY - The telework policy is currently being revised and staffed by the HRO.  The policy will be posted to the web site once it has been finalized and approved.

  • AGR POLICY MEMO - AGR Policy Memo 12-002: Filling Procedures for Army AGR Positions has been published and is now on the site.

  • REDUCTION IN FORCE - [RIF PAGE UPDATED: 28 MARCH 2012] We have started a new Reduction in Force (RIF) web page.  We have created a new email address to send your RIF questions to:  NGAZ-HRORIF@ng.army.mil.  Please forward any questions/concerns to this email address and the appropriate Specialist will respond as soon as possible.

  • SUPERVISOR COURSE - ** UPDATE ** - The HRO will be conducting a NGB Basic Supervisor Course on 19-22 JUNE 2012 at the WAATS in the Maintenance BN Classroom.  To register to attend, please complete and email the registration form.

  • RETIREMENT SEMINARS - The HRO will be hosting four one-day training sessions on 07-10 AUGUST 2012 for technician employees covered by the FERS retirement system.  07-08 AUG 12 will be at the WAATS and 09-10 AUG 12 will be at PPMR.  For complete information, please read the registration form and for those who would like to attend, please complete the form and email to the HRO.

  • INTERVIEW COURSE DATES - The 2012 dates for the interview course have been posted to the web site.

  • OWCP SUPVERVISOR TRAINING - The HRO will be hosting the Office of Workers' Compensation (OWCP) on 04, 11, 17th through the 19th & 25 April 2012 at various locations in Arizona.  The training will consist of Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS) Computer Based Training Module, OWCP Forms that should be issued in the event of an work related injury , and a question and answer segment.  All supervisors of federal technicians are encouraged to attend.  Additional information can be found on the OWCP Training Calendar and the Supervisor CBT Info.  Questions can be directed to 602-629-4818.  

  • UNION CONTRACT - The updated Labor Management Agreement between The Adjutant General (AZ) and Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT) Arizona Army Chapter 61, effective 01 October 2011, is now posted on our site.

  • ACT GRIEVANCE FORM - A new Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT) Arizona Army Chapter #61 Grievance Form has been posted to the Labor Relations page.  Instructions for completing the form are on the second page.

  • OWCP SUPERVISOR CBT - Instructions are now available for supervisors to access and complete the computer based training for OWCP.

  • HRO MEMO 11-05 - Effective 01 July 2011, all Standard Form (SF) 182, Request for Training, must be received in the HRO no-less-than 10 business days prior to the training start date.  HRO MEMO 11-05 explains the new policy and provides the guidance for submitting the SF182. 

  • SPECIAL EMPHASIS NEWSLETTER - The June 2011, May 2011, March 2011 and April 2011 edition of the Special Emphasis newsletter is now available.

  • ARNG UNION OFFICERS & STEWARDS - An updated listing of Officers and Stewards has been posted on our site for ACT Chapter # 61.  (Updated - May 2011)  

  • USERRA INFORMATION - We've posted updated versions of our USERRA Brief and USERRA Checklist, as well as, information on Leave Without Pay.  These documents can also be found on the Employee Relations (ERS) page as well.

  • TECHNICIAN PROBATIONARY PERIOD - HRO Memo 11-02 (Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Technician Probationary Period), effective 02 Feb 11, has been published and is now available.

  • WEINGARTEN RIGHTS - The Annual Notification of Bargaining Unit Employee's Right to Union Representation (Weingarten Rights) has been posted.

  • MYBIZ EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION TOOL -  The Employment Verification Tool is now up and running inside of MyBiz.  For additional information on how this works, please read the Instructions and view the Slideshow.

  • PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL APPLICATION (PAA) QUESTIONS:  We now have a new email address for your PAA questions....

    Please direct all questions concerning the new PAA to the new email address.  This will allow us to streamline the process and ensure the correct person is able to address the question/concern.

  • PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL APPLICATION (PAA) - The new Performance Appraisal Application (PAA) will be implemented beginning 01 October 2010.  Training was conducted in May 2010 throughout Arizona and we now have training videos available for each part of the entire appraisal process.  The training videos required the use of Defense Connect Online (DCO) and as such, you must have an account with DCO to view the training videos.  To create a DCO account, please visit the DCO homepage and click on the "Register" button in the upper left corner of the page.  We have created a PAA page that links to the videos, a request form to get a DVD of the training that was conducted in May 2010, and other forms helpful to the PAA process.

  • EBIS & IRVS - Beginning 01 October 2010, the National Guard will transition to the Employee Benefits Information System (EBIS) / Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) serviced by the Army Benefits Center-Civilian (ABC-C) located in Fort Riley, KS.

    EBIS is an automated, secure, self-service Web application that will allow Technicians to make health insurance, life insurance, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) contribution elections, military deposits, review general and personal benefits information, and calculate retirement estimates using a computer.

    IVRS is an automated self-service program Technicians can access from a touch-tone telephone system.  Unlike the web-based EBIS, IVRS will allow for transfer to a benefits counselor for additional assistance.
